Advanced Technologies…it’s certainly a phrase we are hearing a lot about right now. If you joined us in Dallas for Explore, you heard about these technologies from the perspective of experts in many different fields. But how is QAD working with its customers to find success with advanced technologies?

QAD Chief Technology Officer Tony Winter spoke about how the manufacturing industry is changing as part of the Industry 4.0 revolution and what it will mean for our future. It’s definitely a future in which companies will have to ‘imagine’ the possibilities with these technologies…the smartest factories with robotics, 3D printing and augmented reality, for example.

Tony also joined a conversation led by IDC Vice President Bob Parker featuring QAD customer, Saint-Gobain’s IT Director Chuck Wierzbicki to discuss how they are using MES, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and analytics to innovate within the four walls of their factories.

In addition, keynote speaker Neil Jacobstein, chairman of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics track at Singularity University, shared with us real world examples of the use of AI and how we can solve problems in the world of manufacturing using these applications.

Customer Success with Advanced Technologies

Each year we travel the world filming customer success stories to share. Our goal is to highlight the unique industries that QAD serves and how they are using technology and solutions to address their needs. These videos feature customers from many different regions and industries, and identify some of the many challenges manufacturers are facing.
