Explore Agenda

It’s that time again to get approval for your trip to QAD Explore! This year’s Explore in Detroit is shaping up to be the best one yet, but before you ask for approval to attend, you may want to have some secret weapons in your back pocket. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Step 1: Know the Explore Agenda, Create a Plan

Be sure to have a good understanding of the Explore agenda, and how it will help you to grow in your current position and improve your company’s processes. With over 25 breakouts and six training courses to choose from, you’re bound to find many sessions to give you an edge on your skills and product knowledge.

Step 2: Can You Answer the Question: “Why Go to Explore?”

Year-after-year, customers return to Explore. Why do they continue to join us? We often hear that it’s the sessions, training and networking opportunities with the QAD Experts, so we recently sat down with the team from CK Technologies to gain some insight. We were delighted to hear that not only do they find those common reasons part of why the keep coming back, but they said Explore enables the continuous improvement of their business. They tackle QAD Explore as a team, come up with a strategic plan of action and work together to get the most out of the event. It’s a great story, and you can read all about it here.

In addition to all of those great reasons, many people enjoy hearing inspiring and motivating keynotes by QAD executives and special guests. This year we’re excited to announce that inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil will be headlining the Explore keynotes. You’re not going to want to miss it!

Step 3: Justify Your Trip With a Well-Written Email!

Once you have a good handle on the sessions you want to attend and can provide a value for attending Explore, all you need to do is to wrap it up into a nice package for your manager to review and approve. Download the Explore Justification Template, customize it and you’ll be on your way to Detroit in a few months!

Register Early With a Discounted Rate

One of the biggest reasons to get this info in front of your manager is because the Early Bird Discount ends on March 31st. After that it’s going to cost an additional $600. So get familiar with the agenda, learn more about why Explore is so valuable and justify the trip to your manager!

Looking forward to seeing you in Motown in May!
