Scosche is building the effective enterprise.

QAD Customer and award-winning innovator of portable electronics accessories and car audio hardware, Scosche, is located in Oxnard, CA, just down the road from our corporate headquarters in Santa Barbara. Founded in 1980 by husband and wife team Roger and Scotia Alves (similar to Pam and Karl Lopker with QAD), Scosche began as a research and consulting business housed in their garage and was one of QAD’s very first customers. The company’s initial focus was on car audio with early clients such as Alpine and Kenwood. After several years, sons Kas and Vince joined the team and now it’s a full family affair.

Innovation Drives Scosche

Earlier this year, we sat down with Roger, Kas and Vince to film a customer success showcase video to highlight the long-standing partnership between QAD and Scosche. This team knows that their industry is fiercely competitive and with such competition, they are always looking for ways to create the next must-have high-powered accessory. They are passionate about being innovative leaders in their field.

Cloud ERP Lets Scosche Concentrate On Their Product Line

Scosche has made innovation their mission and one key strategy to success has been their operations. They strive to be faster and more efficient. Having their ERP in the cloud has helped them accomplish that by allowing them access to all the information they need. It’s also one less thing they have to worry about.

“The more ontime and accurate sales, accounting, inventory and customer reporting I have with QAD and the dashboard I have on my desktop — that’s how we can grow the company,” says Kas Alves, VP of Sales and Marketing.

And grow they have! What started out as a family business in the garage has grown to more than 140 employees, multiple locations and their products can be found in most big box retailers. We know they’ve done all the hard work, but QAD is happy to think we might have played a role in helping them build their Effective Enterprise. Learn more about QAD Cloud ERP.
