Explore 2016

Last week, we wrapped up one of the largest and most successful Explore customer conferences held by QAD.  You can watch the Opening Video here.  More than 800 customers, partners and QAD staff spent the week in Chicago talking about all the things going on in the world of manufacturing….like the Internet of Things, CyberSecurity, User Experience, Lean Manufacturing and the Future of Manufacturing, (just to name a few).    Keynote speaker, Jim Carroll reminded us that the technologies we once thought were so far in the future, are in fact, here now…think Spock’s tricorder and some of the gadgets featured on the Jetsons. We all agreed that technology is evolving at lightning speed and, to quote our CEO Karl Lopker, we came together to talk about “you and us and mind-boggling change”.

We packed the agenda with great breakout and training sessions and we were honored to have so many customers join us as presenters.  It’s always good to hear the success stories and how QAD is working for you!  Speaking of success stories…we debuted several Customer Showcase videos during the conference.  Be sure to check out the RENOLIT, Scosche, Wesco and SMR videos for a look at these great companies and how they use QAD.

If you attended Explore and want to download any of the presentations, we have them available on https://www.qad.com/about/eventspresentations/.  If you weren’t able to join us for Explore this year, you should take a look too and see what you missed!  We also have a recap video so you can catch the highlights of the morning sessions and we created a photo album from the week so feel free to share your pictures too and connect with us on socials by using the hashtag #QADExplore!
