Very Special Breakout Session Speaker: James Womack

James Womack
Breakout Session Speaker

We had such an enthusiastic response to James Womack’s session at last year’s Explore, that we couldn’t wait to invite him back. For those who don’t know, James Womack is a lean production expert, author, and founder of the Lean Enterprise Institute. As a former research director of MIT’s International Motor Vehicle Program, James directed a series of comparative studies of world manufacturing practices and led the research team that coined the term “lean production” to describe the Toyota Production System. What makes James’ presence so special, is that he only speaks at events where he has toured customer facilities. He calls it, the “no walk, not talk” deal. This year he’ll be visiting his second QAD customer to get to know how they are using the technology to build their effective enterprise. You’re not going to want to miss your opportunity to hear from this legend in manufacturing!
